Manchester Heraldic Handkerchief Coat of Arms Cotton Pocket Square
A printed cotton square, inspired by Manchester's coat of arms that was granted to the city in 1842
The image has been originally made with a lino cut print, using traditional techniques, before being transferred to a contemporary print process onto the fabric.
It is a classic heraldic design, showing a shield bearing the image of a ship, supported by a mythical antelope and a regal lion, and crowned by a globe covered in industrious worker bees.
At the foot is the city's motto, Concilio Et Labore, which means 'by counsel and work'.
The cotton square can be used as a handkerchief, worn as a pocket square, or popped in to a picture frame.
A great souvenir or memento of the city, a little piece of Manchester.
The individual cotton square comes folded and package in a paper wrap, embossed with the Mr.PS logo.
You can also choose to have it gift wrapped in red paper, and wrapped in ribbon.
